If
you want truth, the place to start is with God. His
Word, the Bible, is the where we find truth for all of life! God wants to help and
teach you! Begin a relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. When
you trust Jesus you are given a Helper, the Holy Spirit, who is with you always
to give you everything needed to live a Truth Seeking life.
Why
believe in Jesus? God is holy and we cannot approach Him
with sin. Sin is all the wrong we do…our very nature. We can’t be good enough
no matter how hard we try. God wants us to come to Him and has made that
possible through Jesus. God sent Jesus into the world to live and die for us.
Someone had to pay for all the punishment we deserve so that we could come to
God. Jesus, as a man lived through all that we face in life but He did it
without sin. That makes Him the perfect one to pay the price for the punishment
we deserve.
Jesus
died in our place. He took all the punishment of all sin.
Jesus was separated from God as he paid our debt with His life on the cross. Jesus
conquered sin and death and rose again. He came alive after death victorious.
He is Alive! After showing himself to many people Jesus went to heaven. He left
so we could have a helper, the Holy Spirit, who is always with those who trust
in what Christ has done for them.
God
has offered all the gift of trusting in Jesus. We
all have a choice to believe in what Jesus did for us or to reject it. When we trust
what Jesus did we are saved from eternal punishment and separation from God. If
we accept God’s gift of His Son our account of sin debt says, “Paid In Full!”
If
you are not ready to
trust in Jesus, ask God whatever questions you might have? He can take it.
Be real. It’s your choice. He wants you to choose Him and show you the way. As
a warning, none of us is guaranteed one more minute of life. I hope and pray
you choose God by accepting His gift, Jesus.
I am a person with a heart to share what I have gone
through and learned. I will and do make mistakes. Please check what I say with
God’s Word, the Bible. I hope our journey will encourage, challenge, and
comfort you along the way as we seek the Truth!
